I am a Techno-functional SAP certified consultant with good amount of experience in converting legacy application into SAP platform. In addition to ABAP, Sales & Distribution(SD) module of SAP is my area of specialization. With overall 15 years of experience in SAP I have worked in many SAP implementation, roll-out and production support projects as ABAP application consultant, functional consultant, team lead and project lead. As a SAP ABAP application consultant converted number of legacy home grown crucial applications into SAP platform. It is always advisable to use SAP Standard SAP system application. Keeping this back of mind whenever client ask for new application development in SAP, I used to explore suitability of existing SAP application to meet the new requirement. It all depends on which module of SAP the requirement fits. Especially in SD and FICO module we can very well address common requirements with minimal/no ABAP development efforts.
