I am looking for someone that speaks native English to be able to research and write a blog for our website. The blog topic is on sugar. I would like to delve into the meaning behind the "sugar-free" label on foods. What are the requirements that a product must have to be labeled sugar free? Why do some products say they are sugar free, but still contain sugar alcohols and high fructose corn syrup, etc?
Please write this from an educational stance, informing people that sometimes what is said on the packaging is not always true, and its important to look at the ingredients listed on the product.

one reason is "no added sugar", but there must be more reasons for how things such as sugar alcohols and high fructose corn syrup allowed in 'sugar free' products, if they are technically adding in these ingredients which act as sugars. Please do some research on the rules and regulations for this and be able to explain it clearly in a blog format.
