Screenwriter to adapt autobiography for a feature film ( Merseyside.UK )

We are looking for a screenwriter to write our screenplay which will be an adaptation of an autobiography. The writer must have an understanding of 1980s culture. Someone that can work well with me, producers and director as we are like a family. The film will be based on my life. I need a screenwriter that is able to bring my story to life and share my vision. We have already filmed a teaser. (can provide a link on request) We have had a lot of interest from distribution companies and have already had interest from our local cinema to premiere the film. The story itself is an exciting new film; adapted from my autobiography. This film will be shot on location in Merseyside pooling local talent and expertise. The film starts in the early 1980's and depicts the trials and tribulations of a young teenager and what he faces as he grows up in Thatcher's Britain on Merseyside, a time of poverty and deprivation in the North West. It follows his metamorphosis from a child affected by murder, struggling with learning difficulties, social uprising and the inevitable slide into crime and drugs. Salvation appears in the form of the written word of William Shakespeare, sparking a heart-warming desire within the young man to overcome all and become an actor. At present we are in talks with investors and we have been in talks regarding a cast. We have had so much publicity from magazines, newspapers to BBC. We will film in Wirral and use a lot of local talent including actors. North West. This is a paid position and a meeting will be set up with the producers to talk about payment.
