The Cafe Conversation
The cafe was nestled at a cosy corner of a busy street. Glass panes next to the sofas made the road a perfect spectacle for an observer, an inspiring setting for a writer and a comfortable spot for a reader. He sat at a corner. Today, he was in a mood to read. He was but distracted by a soft clinking coming from a table in front of him. A girl, about his age, was reading intently. She was holding a book of plays, by Henrik Ibsen-Four Major Plays, in her right hand. Her left hand softly brushing her neck- a sort of a habit people has when they are really engrossed into something-was the reason behind the clinking of her long metal earrings. He found himself staring at her and completely distracted from his book.
