The works will be in narrow light wells so they will be outdoors and need to cope with the weather and not be too bulky or cumbersome in the space. Six pieces required all up. The light wells are approx 2m x 2m with awning windows opening into the space. We need tall pieces of varying height up to approx 5m. You will have to assemble the artwork on site. Your artwork will be viewable form the glass windows inside the art gallery corridors which will feature quality photographic art. We were originally thinking sculptured trees of some kind but that may be too narrow. We just need bright interesting pieces to enrich the spaces and be consistent with our art gallery theme. The budget quoted is per piece. You can use recycled materials no problem as long as they will weather well. This would be a great opportunity for an art student to show off a nice art piece in an what will become an iconic building. The building is due for completion in Oct/Nov this year. We expect you will need to be Melbourne (Australia) based.
