Our client requires a simple app that allows them to select any number of images, and then creates a Word document that contains a table with each image in a new row.
The format of the table is that each row will contain an image in the left column, and a blank cell in the right column, so that staff can enter their description of the image into this cell.
The Word document must be docx, compatible with Word 2016 and backwards compatible with any version of Word that's compatible with docx format.
The program interface is not that important, this tool is for internal use, but must be presented with excellent English. Ability to drag and drop images into the interface to create a Word doc is preferred.
The program itself can be written in any programming language, but must:
- Work on Windows Server 2016
- Work with Microsoft Office 2016
The project will be delivered as a compiled EXE or installer, and we also require source code access via Github.

1) In what format the image files would be?
2) Is it important to create a github account and upload the code to that? (I usually upload the source to freelancer.com project files, but I have no issues in uploaing it to github if you maintain an account there or create a new account there).

If you don't have preference as to the programming language used, I'd rather use Java which is cross-platform. Nowadays most operating systems have applications that can process .docx files so you don't even need Windows.
