I am looking for someone who can work with me on an ongoing basis to update and amend a clients website. The website is built using Cold Fusion and has a CMS running that allows the website to be updated by the client on a daily basis. The CMS does not allow the client to add/delete pages, sub-sections etc - it only allows for text and images to be edited or added to existing pages so your job would be to add new pages and sections where required and make them available so that the client can add text/images to them. The site is hosted by ourselves on a Railo based hosting account so knowledge of configuring Railo is required. There will be no set amount of hours and although I do not have an update to be done to the website straight away, I do want to have someone ready to work on it when the need arises.

Hi there, I'd like to put myself forward for consideration of your project of on-going work on the existing CMS your client has. I've been working with ColdFusion since around 2005 - I also led the open source effort to create a development environment for CF - CFEclipse [login to view URL] I have availability as-and-when required and while I would liaise with you to work around any upcoming availability issues that might arise, for the foreseeable future I believe I would have no issues with your on-call requirement. I'm also based in Switzerland, so there's no considerable time difference. I am familiar with Railo, if you excuse some name-dropping, I worked with Mark Drew, CEO of Railo in the UK and also speak weekly with Gert Franz, the main head of Railo here in Switzerland. Finally, as I grew to understand your client's CMS I would probable look to propose to you (and therefore for you to your client) to add functionality for them to add pages by themselves.
