Hello,
I'm interested in your project and would like to have more details. From what I could grasp from the project description, it is required to :
1. write a 16-bit assembly program for MS-DOS
2. The program must use VGA/EGA display adapter in mode 3 (color text mode) and write directly to the video memory.
3. Use pseudo graphic symbols like ---- or || for drawing lines to draw a calendar for three months
4. As I understand all functions for screen out put, keyboard navigation are to be written from scratch
Which assembler should be used: TASM or MASM?
I never worked with DOS Box - I can use MS-DOS Virtual Machine for development and testing. Is it important?
Sincerely,
Serge
