Microsoft IIS/SQL Server Web Application Developer for Desktop and Mobile Applications

We are looking for an IIS/SQL Server developer responsible for building web-driven applications. This includes anything between complex groups of front-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential. Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable stand-alone application code - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Desired Skills and Experience - Proficient in enterprise web service development using Microsoft IIS and SQL Server, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems and languages - Solid understanding of development using REST, XML/HTTP, database integration client-side and server-side scripting, web-based UI/UX design and server-side cross-domain web service integration. - Skill for writing reusable product libraries - Knowledge of concurrency patterns in web server languages (eg. JSP, ASP, node.js, SOAP) - Familiarity with concepts of server-side scripting, MVC, JDBC, SOAP/XML and RESTful development - Familiarity with web-based UI frameworks - Knack for writing clean, readable server-side code - Experience with both external and embedded databases - SQL Server development skills, including stored procedure and database design and web service integration - Continuous Integration and Automated build environments - Strong experience of surrounding technologies - Front End: XML, HTML, CSS and JS, CMS customisation - Back End: XML/SOAP/REST APIs, Web Services, ASP.NET, IIS module integration
