Consider a disk with the following characteristics:
Number of double-sided disks is 6.
The block size is 8 sector s.
Each sector is 64KB.
Number of blocks per track is 10.
Number of cylinders is 100.
a. Compute block, track and a cylinder capacity in MB.
b. Compute disk and surface capacities in GB.
c. Suppose we have a file including 1.000.000 records of size 256
Bytes each. Compute the unspanned blocking factor, the number of tracks
and cylinders needed for storing this file.
d. Suppose the seek time is 40 msec and the disk drive rotates at a
speed of 20000 RPM. How much time does it take (on the average) in
msec to locate and transfer a single block given its block address?

the total track and cylinder capacities.

Please be careful: I have to walk into DNR (Oh, Ukraine...), but I know nothing about time. If I will not able to do this in time, I will do this in 2-3 days.
