Hello,
This should be a straight forward PCB design for a experienced designer.
We need to design a mSATA to USB 3.1 (type c) adaptor utilising either Texas Instruments, or ASmedia chips (or any suitable replacement).
The only tweak here is that we also need to have access to the mSATA drive (as it is, ie direct access) as if it still is a mSATA drive.
Although it's preferable to somehow have both USB and mSATA work simultaneously, but that's not a requirement. In case it is not possible to have both work together, mSATA takes absolute priority over USB and USB can be switched off while mSATA is being accessed directly.
I think a multiplexer can be implemented to do preform the switch.
3.3v is available from the mSATA end and the usual 5v from the USB end. Power can be drawn from the "active" end at a time. (mSATA needs +3.3v to operate)
Finally, there will be a common ground filter, that's a pair of caps and reses.
So, to wrap up:
This is a project to create a mSATA to USB 3.1 type-c adaptor, with an option to route and power lines to mSATA (instead of USB) when mSATA detects activity on the alternative access port for mSATA access only. Or ideally have both sides work simultaneously.
PCB should be compact as the enclosure is narrow and small but quit possible to fit this in. So smallest of packages should be used.
All dimensions, shapes and connector information will be provided.
4 layer 0.8mm PCB is highly preferred.
Design deadline is 2 weeks maximum (14 days) we need the product assembled, packed and ready by mid January 18.
50% will be paid after successful prototype test.
EU (European) designers are preferred due to easier postal communications and no customs duty that will make life easier during prototyping when we may need to post components or assembled PCBs to each other during debugging if needed needed.
Please (please) only big if you are 200% certain that you can take this successfully and have enough experience doing so. It's not up for random bidders or trial and error.
The winner will need to sign NDC.
Looking forward to doing a smooth business with you and for many subsequent projects that will come in your way afterwards.
Many thanks :)

I am here freelancer first to discuss the details of mSATA to USB 3.1
i can sure about my price and the deadline. My way of working is not only to complete but also to
provide enough understanding to the project owner
nice to meet to you.
I can do it well.
