Operations Management app for an Airbnb Apartments business - (internal tool) iOS, Android and Web App About the business: We run a fully furnished apartments company that rents out 1,2 3- and 4- bedroom apartments to short-term (days/weeks) and long-term (months) leisure and business travellers. They may be travelling for business or with the family. They may be relocating overseas for a few months to study or work, or just stay a few days. We create a magical holiday experience for the guests. The apartments are listed on Airbnb, [login to view URL], Expedia, but also longerterm real estate websites. Like a high-end hotel, all apartments include beautifully designed furniture, electricity, water, Netflix, linen, shampoo, and conditioner and must be cleaned and maintained rigorously, and the guests have to check-in and check-out frequently. We must provide a high-quality product (ie. the apartment is well cleaned and maintained) and a high level of customer service for the premium we charge. About the app: --Backend and data considerations Backend -> the app will receive booking information from our booking management system (Beds24) via webhooks. The app will maintain a list of bookings in sync with the booking system. 1. Receive webhooks on new, modify or cancelled bookings from Beds24 system (backend) 2. Retrieve booking details from Beds24 JSON API (backend) In addition, the app will extend data and functionality the booking system doesn't support. Management of "work orders" - guest check-ins, cleans and maintenance issues. Roles: *Admin *Operations manager *Cleaner *Maintenance person *Check-in person --Cleaner view (iOS, Android, Web) 1. Show cleaner upcoming bookings & their work orders (cleans) 2. Provide a form for cleaners to submit their cleaning report, checklist, photos, maintenance issues (photos are resized and compressed on client-side before uploading) --Guest view (Web) 1. Provide a form for guests to register, pay security deposit and book their check-in appointments --Check-in person view (iOS, Android, Web) 1. Show check-in appointments requested by guests. Approve/Add/Edit/Delete them. --Operations view (Web & Windows) 1. Operations view to create, assign and view work orders
