Machine shop website

We are looking to redevelop our website into something that will catch the eye, be easy to navigate and offer our part inventory online. We have expressed that this is a website with graphic design because we know that a great website will need to have eye-pleasing graphics. We will supply pictures of our shop and will need these to be edited so that they testefully fit into the scheme of the website. We are a machine shop, tool and die company and need a look that reflects the type of work that we do. Feel free to look at the current site to see the type of products that we make, but know that this site is NOT what we are looking to replicate only use it for the information it provides. <[login to view URL]> Please see the attached file for details. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This website must be created in VB.NET using code-behind pages and will reside on a Windows 2003 R2 64 bit server. The database will be SQL 2005 Express and there will be a test (staging) area for you to upload your work and manage files. Once your site is ready to deploy, we will take charge of moving the files and database onto the production environment.
