Organizational Charts to be Designed and Updated

We are a company based in the Washington, DC area that implements international development projects worldwide. We have around 35 people in our home office and additional people working on projects overseas. We have an organizational structure that is somewhat hard to depict in one organizational chart, comprised of multiple overlapping teams. That is, any given individual will be a member of multiple groups, with different reporting relationships in different groups. We are looking for a graphic designer who can help us to create a series of organizational charts that would depict our organizational structure. We have a master table that indicates which person is a member of which groups, what the person’s title is in each group, and to whom he or she reports in each group. We would like to produce from this table a series of simple organizational charts of each group, showing names, titles, and reporting relationships. We then also would like to produce one complex graphic that somehow shows all the individuals of the company and their overlapping memberships in the various groups, all at once. For presentations, the purpose will be to show first a large complicated organizational structure all at once, not in a way that makes all the reporting clear but in a way that depicts the nature of the structure with many multiple overlapping groups, and then second on multiple pages to show each group on a separate organizational chart—all the single simple organizational charts in sum will add up to the aggregated complicated organizational chart. Attached is a quick sketch of what we are looking for, which might be helpful. That is, the organizational charts would become a book, with the first page of the main body a series of all the individuals linked together into many overlapping organizational charts, and then the following pages would have each organizational chart separately. We request to use a Mid-Century Modern color palette to match our logo colors. We would like each group of organizational charts to be in the same color—that is, the corporate groups in one color, the project management groups in one color, etc. The table included with this description shows the individuals, the groups, and the reporting relationships (with actual names removed). The numbers in the cells indicate to whom a person reports. (“L” means that a person is a leader of a group, and “M” means member.) At start of work, we will provide an updated version of this with names added back in. This table included is to give a sense of the volume of the work. What we are looking for is to produce an initial series of organizational charts, and then periodically to update them. So possibly we are looking to pay something like a flat fee for the initial project, and then an hourly or per-event fee each time the charts need to be updated. In sum, this is a small and relatively simple assignment in that it just requires a number of simple organizational charts (plus one complicated chart), but it is repetitive, and the whole set of organizational charts we will want to update periodically. We are unsure if all the charts need to be updated manually each time of if there is any way to update them semi-automatically from the table.
