1. To discuss and understand clients’ requirement before performing the service.
2. To give advice on the desired look after assessing the time and effort a client is willing to invest in order to maintain a specific look.
3. To adhere to and propagate the procedures defined as per the SOP
4. To provide shampooing and conditioning services to client.
5. To discretely use & sanitise hair tools as approved by Category Head-Hair or Beauty Department
6. To provide services such as colouring, bleaching, conditioning, permanent waving, straightening and tinting.
7. To dry and style hair using brushes, combs, rollers and other equipments
8. To shave and trim beards and moustaches for male clients.
9. To guide the client adequately on how to manage and maintain the new look after styling of hair.
10. To be able to recommend VLCC Personal Care products for regular use.
11. To be able to recommend client to beauty expert for hair and scalp problems
12. To execute detailed hairstyles for special occasions such as engagement, marriage, stage event etc.
13. To regularly disinfect combs and rollers & other tools after every session
14. In co-ordination with other Hair Stylists, to handle instruments / equipment carefully and judiciously.
15. To ensure general upkeep & cleanliness of the work area.
16. To be responsible to pass on any lost and found items immediately to the Centre Head
17. To percolate Training inputs / information on new trends to other hair stylists, as and when instructed by the Beauty Head
18. To prepare and maintain all necessary reports / paperwork and documentation on a regular basis.
19. To attend all staff and training meetings as and when directed by the Center Head
20. To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with VLCC policies maintaining high standards of personal appearance and personal hygiene and appropriate uniform.
21. Under the supervision of the Beauty Head , to plan and execute events at the centre by developing and implementing appropriate strategies - Selecting, segmenting and targeting markets and promoting products and services to niche clients
22. To make a constant effort to update one’s knowledge on products and services being offered by company and competitors in order to handle sales objections with regard to pricing and packaging.
23. To constantly upgrade oneself and multitask so as to achieve the progression level as per the multitasking / up gradation planner
