Hello. I guess your app being configured at live mode, changing it to sandbox mode will work. If you want the live mode working on localhost, you need to change the host file to make your domain routes to localhost.

Have you tried changing the URL in the Facebook Developer admin page? I have successfully implemented oAuth with Facebook in Rails before.
