Looking for a web designer who combines very solid experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We are developing a very exciting search and analytics web service and the front end development is partially complete. You will continue building the front end and should be able to work alone. You will interface with an A+ team that's working on the back end development. You need to be able move quickly on this project and must be available for face to face meetings in New York City. We require references. Must have solid experience & demonstrable skills in - HTML (HTML5 is preferable) - CSS (CSS3 is preferable) - Cross-browser compatibility experience - JavaScript - JSON and JSONP - JavaScript libraries (especially jQuery) - Graphics editing application (Photoshop, Gimp, or Inkscape is a plus) Familiarity with the following is very helpful - Twitter Bootstrap front-end toolkit (CSS and HTML components) - Relational Databases (MySQL preferable) - Linux based OSs (Ubuntu is preferable) - Any other object oriented programming language (Java is preferable) - JavaScript charting tool - Document and reporting file format (XML, CSV, PDF, … etc)
