Hi, I have a similar setup at home. This is the process: 1. Setup MAC address IP reservation: This will ensure that your Raspberry PI will always get the same IP address from the Router's DHCP server. Very useful when there's an unexpected power outage or router restart. 2. Setup Port forwarding: OpenVPN uses UDP:1194, a port forwarding rule will be setup on your router to forward UDP:1194 from your public internet IP address to your Raspberry PI's reserved local IP address. 3. Install and configure OpenVPN: This will be done over an SSH connection to the Raspberry Pi. 4. Configure iOS/Android, Windows, Mac and Linux (Ubuntu) devices to successfully route traffic via your home VPN. I have extensive experience with OpenVPN and the Raspberry Pi. I have exactly this configuration set up in my environment, and will be able to set it up for you quickly and easily once. I will need (temporary) access to your Raspberry Pi (with Raspbian) and to your firewall to configure proper rules.

Grettings. I did this with my own raspberry. there are some things you have to take in consideration. First, your ISP's router must allow you to open the port OpenVPN uses, if that's not the case, you could call them and ask them to open the port for you. Second, if your ISP assigns you a dynamic ip address then you will need a DNS service, you can either buy one or use a free one, both can work. I can do this remotely through OpenSSH.

Project Questions: Is you ISP IP dynamic or Static? If your ISP IP is dynamic to you have a dynamic DNS provider? Would you like just certificates or certificates with a password? Have set up multiple OpenVPN servers before, and have experience with doing so on a Raspberry PI. Can set the server up remotely over SSH, and can guide you through setting it up with your computer. Please note that you WILL need to port-forward a port on your router for this to work. (please double-check that you are able to do this with your ISP if you aren't sure)
