Cabaret Media is seeking a freelance sales proposal and contract writer to create and deliver compelling sales collateral for our sales support team. The Proposal and Contract Writer is responsible for writing proposals, grants, and RFP responses detailing Cabaret Media products and services to prospective clients. This position also coordinates the end-to-end proposal creation and submission process, working closely with account managers and other staff to ensure that proposals and RFP responses are accurate, high quality, and on time. There will be some opportunities to perform other technical writing as needed. The ideal candidate will create the written documents used in pre/post sales meetings to quantify our capabilities, define the parameters of the services discussed, work with the product team and management to appropriately price engagements and create service or product offerings/packages in support of the sales team and project manager(s). Cabaret Media is seeking a strong writer who is meticulous, can handle a high-volume workload and can complete projects quickly. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated excellence writing sales, grant or RFP proposals and can write detailed, factual and convincing collateral that speaks to varied levels of an organization; executive and technical. Translating technical writing into plain language is a must as well as crafting the same message multiple ways based on factors such as audience and purpose. Ideal candidates will thrive working with high-speed, high-energy teams.
