face recognition in matlab

basically I want just program in matlab, where you pick up images in a folder, compare them against images in a oracle xe database. if it found the entry, then log it in the oracle database and then move the image to a processed folder. if not found then store the image in the oracle database in another table as unknown. move that image then to a "unknown" folder. this must run automatically in a scheduled job. from a front screen where we can see the images that was processed. nothing big actual, more just a processing and comparing app. Note - Time is very important for us.
