WMI / DBList

Here's my requirement and as is pretty usual in our industry, want it ASAP at the lowest price! I am assuming you know or are aware of Windows Management Instrumentation [WMI] Check MSDN otherwise. First, there are Namespaces: e.g. root\cimv2, root\directory\ldap, and so on. Basically, you have WMI Providers [e.g. Event Log, Perf Counter, Win 32, etc.] Each Provider has various Objects e.g. Win 32 - Disks, Files, Folders, Services, etc. Each Object has Various COunters e. g. File - Name, SIze, Path, and so on. You can capture this info from and on any PC by running WMI queries [called, WQL, similar to SQL] Now, my project: The WebPage will have 3 listboxes adjacent to each other [lb1, lb2, lb3] as follows: I want the lb1 to show the available Providers where the namespace = root\cimv2 Then, it follows that lb2, will execute a query to select all the objects for a selected provider. Similarly, the lb3 will be populated with items of available classes for the Object selected in lb2. Multipleitems can be selected only in lb3. The items selected will be the part of the SELECT clause. Please also note that the items are comma separated but there is no comma before the first itemselected and the last itemselected. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform OS - WIndows XP Pro / Windows Server 2003 VIsual Studio 2005 - C# / ASP.NET I hope this is clear for the project outline. This is indeed what is required. This has to be done using Visual Studio .NET 2005 preferably or 2003 but in C#. Finally, the above SELECT statement will be executed on a PC or a Server - local or remote to get the results. If the above is not clear, please let me know. If the above is clear, please let me know how soon can I expect a small app {even beta, sorta of!) and the cost for the final app.
