[login to view URL] requires webpages, structured user data entry and Javascripts to create a "search string" which is passed via CGI to a remote application server. The search string is composed of one of 42 defined "search verbs" with 0 to 4 user-entered parameters each. The search application and the remote application server ARE NOT in scope of this project.
This project is the "front-end" on a webserver where a user selects 1 of 42 search verbs and enters 0 to 4 parameters. When the user clicks a button, this requested application is to construct a string based on the user input and pass it via CGI to the out-of-scope remote application server. This function is to be tested by display on a remote webpage.
In addition, a subset of a vCard is to be constructed and made available via CGI to the remote application server in response to a user clicking a vCard button. This is to be tested by display on a remote webpage as well.
Finally, display of the results returning from the remote application server is to be simulated in a pop up window by the webserver in this project.
Requirements are defined in more detail in attached documents. Test data is provided.
