This project is for [login to view URL], which will be a web 2.0 app with a difference - it will actually be useful. It intends to be one of the most useful blogging and text organisation tools out there. The roadmap and ideas are in place. I now need developers to partner with me and create the site based on evolving user needs. There is a basic task list, but the nature of this project is such that it will be divided into individual tasks. We will develop iteratively as site usage increases, analysing what features people are asking for. This is a very exciting opportunity to build a very public startup. AJAX/PHP/CSS/XHTML design skills are very important. Please respond in this manner: 1) Describe your experiences creating web 2.0 sites, or sites with rich interactivity and very high usability 2) Have you used FlickR? Can you see why it works? Can you reproduce the GUI effects on FlickR across the major browsers? 3) Do you have a GUI/web app portfolio? Please reveal the pertinent bits 4) Describe your reading interests. Do you blog? Do you need to quote other people when you blog? Therefore, do you feel you understand what would make your life easier to blog text from sources and save it? Would organising and sharing text snippets be an everyday task that you do? Would a tool help? What would the most amazing tool for this task look like? 5) Why personal attributes do you feel you have, that could make [login to view URL] really successful? 6) Describe what makes an online community very interested. What makes people active participants as users on a website? 7) Any other information you wish to write. Any shortlisted bidders will be given our prototype URL to look at (for an idea on where I want to head). This project will be priced and executed on rent-a-coder, after first choosing the coder, clarifying the initial project, and agreeing a bid. Any responses not including the above information requests may be ignored.
