i am attempting to develope a; retail point of sale (POS)check fraud security system which will be used at POS terminals at retail locations to identify positive customer identities by drawing from thier pre-entered info (fingerprint, account #'s, scan of picture identification). Not to be confused with current 'outside check authorization systems' this system will be inhouse and serve to verify identity of check writer and subsequently expose criminal attempts to forge checks/credit cards. <> the consumer will submit to a "one time" scan of optional finger/thumb print on such scanner so appropriate along with entry of personal info as briefly mentioned above. this info will be stored and drawn from by inhouse system and referred to when and if POS terminal cashier feels that an attempted fraud (stolen checks/cards) is in progress by unauthorized check/card holder. Check presenter will be asked to submit to print scan so as to authorized and verify the prexisting info and allow transaction by qualified consumer OR, expose criminal with false identification and set off inhouse alarm/notification that a crime is in progress. (said alarm to red-flag transaction, notify inhouse security, and possible activate (if any) inhouse security cameras in immediate veiwing area thus giving police a photo record of fraud attempt. By the consumers one time entry of information they will be protected at subscribing retail market place, branches thereof by info sharing and any/all other locations utilizing this service.

Complete copyrights to all work purchased. <><><> NEED software that will run "print scanner, store specific data, work in conjunction with preexisting inhouse system, (or perhaps my turnkey system) As of this writing I am unsure of what exact print scanner to be used and other hardware. I seek the help and expertise of those aware of such issues. From experience I do know that if such a system were to be employed by retailers, the number of bad checks at retail point of sale can be dramatically reduced no matter how good the false identifications are used by the forgerer.
