Accessing Betfair / Certificates - open to bidding

I want to access the [login to view URL] API. To do that I need to use certificates. I have created the certificate using OPENSSL and loaded it into Betfair. However, when I test with 'curl' it doesn't work. Is this something you could help resolve?
