I have a custom CMS written in CakePHP. The website has a product listing page, basically pull everything out from the database. But the page lack of one very important function: to sort the order of the product. Right now, all it does, is first-in-first-out. (order by product_id) What I need is, the user can assign numbers to the products, and the page will display the products based on the numbers set in the backend.
