There is an issue with the Table of Contents+ Plugin ([login to view URL]) when used with page includes.
If a post or page includes another post or page using a shortcode like [post-content id=1234], then ToC+ will not work properly. The table of contents are not shown for the including document.
As far as we found out, this is a known issue to the plugin that hasn't been fixed yet.
Example:
We have a page with the id 5. This page includes the page with the id 10, using the shortcode [post-content id=10].
The expected behaviour would be that the plugin is only triggered in the page with the id 5. It could either calculate in the headlines from post id 10 or ignore the included post at all.
What actually happens, is that the plugin seems to be only triggered for the document with the page with id 10, while it is not triggered on id 5.
The problem always occurs when there is more than one post loop on a page.
The plugin is using global $post, so it might be a problem with the used hooks.
The solution that is requested will fix this issue, so the table of contents is shown properly in the including page with id 5. The headlines from the included post id 10 don't need to be counted in our scenario.
