I appreciate your design choice, I can add drop down on mouse hover , and on mouse out from the nav menu drop down will be automatically squeeze. Nowadays this is the most attractive drop-down feature. For the slide images , I can replace it with some meaningful video of time span around 5 t 10 sec to show the user a brief view.
