From what I can tell, you want your script to change certain placeholders to actual information. Is that correct? Ex. Hello %name%, how are you? Hello Dave, how are you? If you want PHP to place given values into placeholders it is fairly easy. Should be able to do it in just an hour or so from my understanding.
