I am looking to import data from [login to view URL] into a MySQL database for queries and web access. The government site has the ability to download data. I have the following information that should allow you to define and perform a sample load of data. There are two types of files that I want imported into MYSQL. One is a spreadsheet of statistical information, I would like this to be a table that mirrors the spreadsheet, with the exception of a DATE column for when the stats were collected. The second type of files that need to be imported are XML files. I have an XSD Schema, a PDF document that describes the XML data, and one sample XML file to load. I expect 2 more follow-on projects (data load, simple website access) if this is done well.

Hello, I've checked the files you've attached, as any XML parsing it's tedious but straightforward to implement. It could be delivered as procedural PHP script or a nice OOP one, with, if necessary, DB and DB tables creation, actual download from gov't website and, of course, data insert.
