Develop a Car Sharing Booking System - Web Application

Booking System Prospective members should be able to sign up to the service with basic personal and driving license information. Members should be able to log into the web application and search the availability of vehicles from pre-saved locations, vehicle availability should be shown in both list and map view. Members should be able to create a new reservation, modify or cancel an existing reservation. On confirmation of any new or modified booking, the member should be presented with vehicle, location and cost estimate details. Bookings should trigger email confirmations messages to be sent, and SMS messages to be scheduled and sent accordingly. At the end of a rental, the member should be billed the total amount (duration + optional extras + extra mileage). Members should be able to view previous and upcoming trips with basic trip information. Members should be able to update the personal information stored in their account details. Members should be able to view their previous and current invoices and current account balance. Members should have the ability to lock and unlock the vehicle using a lock function during the course of their rental. Administration Administrators should be able to view, amend and approve applicants, charge application and any other ad hoc fees. Assign a Smart Card to a member. View and edit a member's details and create or edit a reservation on behalf of the member. Restrict a member's access to the system. Reprocess any failed payments. Create/view/amend vehicles, vehicle devices and car park locations. Create/view/amend schedule maintenance for a vehicle e.g. service, car wash etc. Create promotions and discounts and add driving credit to a member's account. View and edit all rates, fees and fines e.g. hourly rate, VAT, membership fee, late vehicle return.
