Drupal Facelift - Bootstrap Migration

I can see using a bootstrap off-canvas menu system for the side menu, and the rest is pretty straight-forward.. I am familiar with the drupal7 bootstrap3 theme, having used it for the website of the charitable organization I volunteer for, and I am familiar with the methodology of bootstrap's grid system. Other versions of drupal are also possible for me to re-theme.
