Its pretty normal that when a process is executed, that process will try to use as much cpu as possible in order to finish/complete the process as soon as possible. I think the issue is mainly related to mysql server configuration and/or web server configuration. What type of webserver do you use? NGINX? APACHE? which versions? What type of MySQL server do you use (MySQL, MariaDB)? which versions? What is the configuration of your server? CPU/RAM? hard disc type/rotaion/RAID? Kind regards,
