Hello, I've been working with AWS for 5 years already, and doing exactly that stuff that you need - administration of EC2 instances, setup, optimizing and debugging of PHP-applications, doing some custom tasks etc. I haven't been working with Edirectory script, but that's not a point. Do you have Professional or Enterprise license? I've looked through their site, and looks like only these options give an opportunity to modify PHP code, otherwise I could do only server optimizations. But I hope that's whould be enough.
