I utilize a consistent 5 Stage Process that ensures open communication and clear directives while providing opportunity for feedback and adjustments.
My greatest strength is that I might be the world's greatest listener. I can share in your vision and my questions are designed to bring us in sync on how to bring your vision to fruition. This begins with Stage 1: Roundtable to discuss all deliverables, milestones, deadlines, and, for me personally, to obtain answers on how best to fulfill the project's goals. while my experience in diverse and extensive, by direct CDN experience is not as robust, making this stage even more prominent. The overall intent of Stage 1 would be to discuss what frameworks can be best integrated with your existing content to provide maximal functionality for you.
I embark on Stage 2: Research in order to determine what technologies are best suited to fulfill the project. I never look to reinvent the wheel and will thoroughly review existing platforms, APIs, libraries, etc, while never being afraid to draft custom solutions if no existing technology will best meet my client's needs. Keeping my client updated, often with inquiries on his or her own domain knowledge, throughout stage 2 ensures only the most optimal technologies are included in the final solution.
The magic happens in Stage 3: Development, where I utilize over a decade of experience to bring together the required components, such as frameworks, content management systems or even drafting customized solutions. Often the shortest stage, we focus on building secure and stable contentions across all components, be they third party or custom built.
We regroup in Stage 4: Feedback so that I may demonstrate how I developed a solution that met all required and agreed upon components from Stage 1. However, ideas are often fluid and changing; occasionally a component may not be as expected by a client or discussions may reveal a more optional alternative. The demonstrations and feedback during this stage provide all necessary modifications to ensure an optimal final solution. I never balk at any feedback or request from clients at this stage because I prefer to focus on an optimal final solution we both want to showcase.
Stage 5: Release is the culmination of all prior stages and I stand by my clients as we work through the necessary steps for a final release of the project's goals. I would ensure all third party and custom components integrate seamlessly with your existing infrastructure while providing secure and stable improvements.
The 5 Stage Process provides opportunities for both the client and myself to discuss, learn, and comment upon the project as it develops. This process not only builds a final product as a source of pride for my clients, but also builds a strong foundation for future projects and modifications.
