Joomla Template Sending Spam - needs malware removing

1. Over the past month the email address for our cleitns website has been receiving large (approx 2000) amounts of 'Mail Delivery Failed' messages. In the hope it was backscatter from Spam servers that would be detected and shutdown, I have not actively tried to resolve it. An example of a messages is detailed below. (I have put what I thought was the relevant part in bold). The website doesn't have any registration process that I'm aware of. This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. I have tried a keyword content search as suggested by Webmaster tools, and although the results were shown mainly in Japanese and Chinese , the translations referred primarily to Moncler, clothing and ladies etc. From extendcp File manager, and looking the [login to view URL] tree, there are numerous .php entries, under various directories, that refer to things like Moncler, uggboots, cheapmoncler etc. So it looks like some sort of malware or code has been introduced to the site. Coincidentally maybe, the same sort of thing, with the samed named offenders, occurred around the same time last year. Would you be able to check, disinfect and repair the site as required and recommend any preventative measures we could take ?
