A program to put students in groups of 3 or 4 for speaking practice. The students are in 4 classes, with a range of 32- 39 in each. They have already been ranked in each class according to their English speaking ability. There are factors to consider when grouping the students: 1. There must be 1 student from each class. 2. Each group must consist students of different abilities (e.g. Student 1 from Class A with the best English, Student 2 from Class B with the slight above-averaged English, Student 3 from Class C with the averaged English and Student 4 from Class D with the below-averaged English. 3. There must be at least 1 male / female in each group 4. Students with the same Surname are not in the same group As mentioned at the beginning, I have got the excel file of the 4 classes of students with their English ability ranked already. So the programme should be able to read data in the excel file and then automatically put students in groups according to the requirements mentioned above. Is it possible to write a program for that purpose? Thx.
