What I'm looking for is basically to build a program that does essentially what Microsoft excel's power query does, but there is a couple of moving parts to this project. So essentially - I will have a excel list of Brand names and their facebook addresses, and when this is up and running I try to add about 100 new entries everyday. About a year ago, before facebook tightened up accesses, I was able to use power query to extract the number of likes from the aforementioned facebook address and add it to the excel sheet. I had set up a marco, so that all I had to do was press a button in the sheet and it would automatically go about extracting the data. Now because facebook has tightened things up after the Cambridge Analytica stuff, the way I understand it I will need to create just a simple app - literally like a newsletter subscription app, to have the correct access token again. I run into a couple of problems with power query. I think I require something more web based, because I would like it to automatically update the query each day. Power query could only do it if I pressed the button. Plus then it took about an hour or more to extract the data for 1000 odd entries. I plan on having more then 30 000 entries so that time frame isn't realistic. Also during that time it would essentially render my laptop unusable because it was taking all of it's CPU to get through the query. Now I want to set it up automatically, and timed, so I no longer have to have access to my laptop to set it in motion and my hope is that could work. Or even if I cant be automatic, I can have access to it on my phone and set it to go from there. I'm hoping that if its web based or something I can just set it to go and forget about it, still be able to use my laptop and not have it using all my CPU to process it. But I don’t know what is possible. Again, it would be easiest if it was set up like an excel spread sheet, because then I can easily add new entries. And for the information to be easily exported to a spreadsheet too (or send the raw data automatically to a excel spreadsheet for re purposing) because there are more details I need to add about each brand and various comparisons and percentage changes and sorting styles I need to go through to get what I need from this. Attached is an example of how it used to look when it used to work, but I'm wondering if you can tell me if what I'm looking for is even possible or if there is something you suggest, and how much?
