Hi there, my name is Pedro Reynoso, I'm a Mechatronics Engineer and I've been working in the automotive industry for more than 9 years now, I've worked as maintenance and controls engineer and my current position is Sr. Controls Engineer in an USA founded company who work for GM, Chrysler ad other companies, my main duties are implement new hardware (sensors, scanners, motors, HMIs, etc) and develop all the code needed to improve the production process and to reduce the possible faults. I mainly work with TIA portal V14 and Studio5000 V28 and V29 (This is the software I have installed and with which I can start right away to help you with the lessons, of course if you have another software we can discuss it to install it and have the same resources. I can guide you trough the project development (from scratch), hardware installation (not only about plc also other electrical stuff), gsd installation, creation of new fbs, fcs, dbs (all this in step7) and what are they for, why should you use one instead of another and how to optimize your code, programming in SCL, AWL, ladder, creation of programs in AllenBbradley Studio 5000, creation of routines and use of the best tools to diagnose problems in your code when you are in a real industry environment.
