Experience in Data Science  Analyzed sales data, CRM data for a waste management company. The work included understanding the features of all the relevant datasets and how it is linked to the business processes. It included data preparation, drawing insights from it and presenting it to the client on a regular basis.  Worked on a route optimization problem for a waste management company. Analyzed the existing routes of all pick-up vans and identified routes that needs to be re-routed. It also involved visualizing all pick-up points based on different features on a Google map and identifying anomalies with respect to the current routes. This was done on R using R’s geospatial packages and Google API. Clustering algorithm was used to suggest optimal clusters of routes and suggest route modifications.  Worked on data visualization on R Shiny package for representing different dimensions of data which can be dynamically shown to the end user.  Data analysis of unstructured data in the form of customer feedback/complaints/notes. Data analyzed to identify customer sentiments, service delivery issues, product related issues and pricing issues. This was done using R’s text mining packages.  Data modelling experience using algorithms such as logistic regression, multivariate linear regression and cluster analysis.  Analyzed data for a Jewelry store by mining data from their social media sites. This was done using R’s data mining packages.
