For crlarification: what is the specific need to use a Bayer tree? The C++ stl container already come along with a map which is a AVL or red/black tree and usually of sufficient performance. Relevant Skills and Experience There are also various ready to use B+ tree implementations around. Some of them also support multitreaded insert/delete operations like palm-tree.
