I can do this. I have several Python programs under my belt, and I have worked with Paramiko before (while connecting to Cisco switches). I can't help thinking, though, that your use case is perfectly suitable for Ansible. Ansible uses SSH under the covers, it has inbuilt support for finishing execution of one step before starting the next. The other cool thing with Ansible is, if one step fails, on a rerun it will automatically resume at the point of the last failure, not all over again from the beginning. Further, it is a standard tool, as opposed to some hand-rolled Python code. Anyway, if you want Paramiko, I can write some for you.
