The project can be research only, and implementation is not mandatory. Innovation and creativity are highly encouraged and will be rewarded with high marks. The novelty can be on the idea itself and/or the actual methodology of the proposed approach. Firstly, you are expected to identify real problems and formulate your initial ideas of solutions. A thorough literature review/background investigation is recommended to verify the novelty of your ideas. The problems should be significant and have strong economic, environmental, or social benefits to the Australian and international community. Secondly, you should demonstrate what mobile networking technologies and methodologies can be explored to tackle the practical problems. It is acceptable if students choose to conduct a comprehensive comparison of state-of-the-art solutions, instead of developing your only solutions. Novelty will be evaluated over the whole solution. Thirdly, the feasibility and the benefit of the project should be analysed. you are encouraged to implement your new ideas into practical programming or hardware design. But this is not compulsory. Please submit a project report for your project work in no more than 3500 words (exclusive of title page, table of contents, reference and appendix).
