I will suggest you to di it yourself. It will be a fun :) Instead of String[] keywords = {"Astronaut+Moon", "Moon+Apollo", "Apollo+shuttle"}; use vector< vector<String>> So that inner vector will store the keywords in parsed manner. Modify you for loop to read each entry of outer vector Now inside your for loop create another loop which read each entry of inner vector and pass it to Pattern and matcher. In this way you can match multiple entries.
