Port Visual Basic 6 code to a fully running C# application

We are porting code from Visual Basic 6 to C# .NET, WinForms. We have used a tool to convert much of the code to C#, still need to go through and get things to work. Ideal candidate would be good at both VB6 and C# with a good understanding of SQL Server. The SQL script we have at the moment will not change unless absolutely necessary. Also we are not looking to make any changes to the front end - just want it to work, the same as the current Visual Basic version. Full assitance will be provided to answer any questions quickly. Initially this project is for a specific part of the application (Data Import) to allow both sides to establish whether a longer term working relationship can be established.
