Programmer must have expert skills in SocketServer (TCP Sockets) and JSON modules of Python. The project is to build a server component in Python that listens on a specific TCP/IP port and collects information from a Cash Machine about deposits and withdrawals. The Cash Machine will send messages consisting of a string in JSON format to the Server via TCP Port that the server is listening on. The messages are sent on one line, followed by a newline character. The Cash Machine opens a socket connection to the server, sends the data and waits for a reply, closing the connection after the reply has been received or the timeout has elapsed. If the server does not respond within the timeout or replies with an error code, the message will be resent later. If the server sets the KEEP_ALIVE flag in the answer, the machine will try to send all messages on the same connection until an error or a timeout occurs. Your task is the build the Server Component, the Cash Machine will be the Client initiating communication. In order to test your software, there is a Java Program that will emulate the transactions sent by the Cash Machine. Attached is the interface specification and the Java test program that you can use to test your software's functionality. You could also use SocketServer and Gevent.
