Biometric (Facial Recognition) Login Project

Biometric Login Project The purpose of this project is to allow our business system users to log into our company database using facial recognition. These are the project criteria. 1. Create a secure and economical facial recognition interface for 100+ users who use a variety of mobile and desktop devices and operating systems (Apple, Android and Windows). This may involve customising an existing open source facial recognition system to our needs. In such a case, the freelancer will be required to research and recommend a suitable interface. 2. To comply with Australian privacy laws, all personal login data for system users must reside on our company server, (this may pose upload speed problems as we only have ADSL 2+), or if cloud based, on a server in Australia. 3. Facial recognition interface should launch when device is activated, and seamlessly log system users into the device and company database which is cloud based. Currently, system users log into desktop devices and then log into the company database via a browser. Mobile devices are not locked and service users only log into the company database via a browser. 4. Facial recognition interface should logout if user goes out of range of camera for more than an administrator set grace period, e.g. one minute. 5. Administrator must be able to control Facial recognition interface from one console to all devices via Wi-Fi or cabled network. 6. Desirably, the administrator will have the ability to set up users to log into apps or data bases other than the company database, e.g. allow a company client to log into a client portal. 7. Desirably, system user data (including facial image) needs to be entered to one device only and automatically register with all devices set up with the interface.
