We are currently working on a virtual reality (VR) surgery app in which users are going to be using sutures as part of completing surgery. Commonly referred to as “getting stitches”, closing a wound using sutures involves threading the sutures through both sides of the wound, then pulling them together and holding the wound closed with the suture itself. The references section contains several reference videos with more detail. We need a freelancer to add string physics to the sutures, and make the behavior seen in the reference videos possible in engine using C# or Unity’s shader languages. The version of Unity we are using is 2019.4.19 (LTS). We are open to a variety of solutions, so long as they are visually believable and functional. We do not require that you test the solution in VR but know that it will be used (and we will be evaluating it) in VR.
Familiar with your company and the goals you are looking to reach with this current opportunity.
I'll provide what is requested based on the milestone documentation and update you on any changes needed during this project.
Experienced in 3D modeling and different game engines for fast prototyping and obtaining desired results of functionality.
