Lucas Boron is an internationally award-winning writer, director, editor and producer.
Previous to his work at LBP, Lucas was a long-standing member of the The Alliance of Canadian Cinema,Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), appearing in titles for MGM Studios, Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures and Columbia Pictures. His work in scripted television includes series for Netflix, USA Network, NBCUniversal, BBC America, History Television and FX. He has also appeared in national ad campaigns for Interac, Hudson's Bay Company, Rogers, Target, Kraft Heinz, Mondelez, The Keg, Casino Rama, The Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, and The Art Gallery of Ontario.
Lucas was a Production Coordinator on two films for the Canadian Film Centre. 'Life on Juniper' was nominated for Best Short Film at the Yorkton Film Festival and 'What Doesn’t Kill You' received the Short Cuts Award for Best Canadian Film at the Toronto International Film Festival.
The Canadian writer-director has also published film scholarship for Cineaction and Kinema. His most recent article was published internationally in the Quarterly Review of Film and Video by David Sterritt, American film author and former Chairman of the National Society of Film Critics in New York.
Lucas has received 6 international awards for his commercial productions.
