Research Assistant--Non-Fiction Book Author Seeking Someone to Assist with Research

Job Description: I am writing a non-fiction book and require a research assistant who can quickly provide me with accurate and thoughtful research on a range of topics in the social sciences and natural sciences. Duties: Research and fact‐check discrete topics provided to you as I write my book and need information on specific details; each short-term research subject will be given with specific topic boundaries and hour limit to be spent researching. Preferred Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to research wide range of academic topics; commitment to properly documented sources. Two example research tasks (2-4 hours each): 1. What is the predicted number of climate refugees in 2050? What source(s) did you use and can you include the links to them? 2. Please provide an example of a product grown in South Asia that is shipped everyday to NYC and is of critical importance to the economy of Asia. Include statistics and sources.
